OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapy practitioners concern themselves
with assisting the client in meaningful and purposeful
occupations reflected in the activities of daily living (ADL).

Practitioners in Occupational Therapy work with all ages.
The occupations of children include sleeping, eating and
exploration activities of their physical, social and cultural
worlds.  As the child grows, the occupations extend to
include self-maintenance, play, and school activities.
Adolescent and young adult occupations include
preparation for such activities as work, forming intimate
relationships, social engagement, community involvement,
and managing daily tasks independently.
